My i7-7700k (4.4ghz, corsair h80i) hits around mid 60's to 70 ~ ish during OW (sometimes spikes up to 75-80c when I minimise). is this normal? read it's a hot chip and I've had it for over a year without any issue but lately my game feels kinda micro stuttery

The temperatures themselves are completely fine for a 7700k, nothing you really have to worry about. Are you sure the micro stutters are related to the increased CPU temperature? Could be something running in the background maybe :/
