VIDEO - Police in riot gear enter @wmata Vienna station - north entrance was just closed to general public. We’re being told by police that ONLY #UniteTheRight2 protesters will be allowed in this entrance - NOT the general public @WUSA9pic.twitter.com/tLUQfuWCtF

Why not close gates to Nazis and let them WALK to DC if this is such a "security" issue?
-
.
@wmata closed the three closest stops to my home for five weeks. Yet these anti-patriots have a station today, and don't pay taxes here -
And of course they oppose funding for public transportation & want everyone else denied access to it even to get to work or medical appointments.

And don't forget the special exception for my suspiciously think and heavy wooden flag poles.https://twitter.com/phileil/status/436273181679439873?s=20 …

Imagine these arrangements being made to accommodate Leftist protestors. Then understand why we still have nazis.https://twitter.com/MikevWUSA/status/1028693677537935361 …
-
Exactly. Remember when they would not issue a permit for the Women's March in DC just after the election. This sends a terrible message to the public that Nazis have significant social standing. Fuck 'um.

Police frequently make decisions to protect the "rights" of right-wing protestors to take over a location. They also often make decisions to disrespect the rights of left-wing protestors, citing violence that either didn't happen or that their undercover plants initiated.
-
I'm not right- or left-wing, but I was at my local Occupy rallies for 2 weeks. What you say is the truth.

How is it legal for them to shut down a station to the general public?
-
It looks like this is just for one entrance to the station.
-
They closed the other entrance to that station altogether though

Whoever made the decision to coddle these nazis isn't fit to serve the public--WMATA, the police, whoever it was.

Vichy Management.
#UnionStrong refused to do it.

@wusa9 This wasn't done for The Women's March. Or the science march. Will it be done f/ the military parade? -
Neither the women's march nor the march for science faced violent counterprotests. I can't say the same for these white supremicists.
-
.
@wmata@ChuckModi1@ZidanSports There were violent opponents on The Mall to The Women's March. Some women were struck. There are not today. I live in D.C. But nice try Klansman
