Kinda weird how Republicans get elected bashing "Sharia Law" then proceed to oppress women, enforce extreme religious ideology and support the brutal murder of dissidents.
Let's face it, the fear mongering over Sharia Law was never about religious extremism or depriving people of freedom. That is literally the Republican platform. It is and was always about racism, bigotry, sowing the fear of "the other" into the electorate for votes.
