Fact check: True, and not just in DC. The DSA was responsible for the heavy lifting on the Portland, ME, ballot measure as well. One Fair Wage swooped in late in the game. (Of course, they lost by 20 points in Portland, thanks to and others.)

Terrible PR advice. Each announcement like this only validates the pressure tactics brought to bear on your clients. When activists come calling with silly demands, ignore them. They'll move on, and so will the media.
