Corbyn would be a disaster as PM, but what May didn't consider is that Corbyn's main strength is campaigning against authority.

Corbyn's main strength was lying through his teeth, promising freebies with no money to back up this utopian idea
-
Labour have a fully costed manifesto. The Tories do not!
-
Only costed by the taxes they thought they could raise and more borrowing
-
Yes, it's easy to 'cost' any Manifesto. Just increase the amount of borrowing to cover the expenditure. That's it. Fully costed.
-
Boo hoo Vlad, if it's so simple why didn't the Tories do it... in wait they did cost a childs breakfast at 7.8 pence ROFL
-
Only just got borrowing down do not want to see it go up again at least not yet, already paying enough interest.
-
Yes, paying £50 billion in interest when our deficit is the same - basically it's only our interest payments increasing our debt now.

I think younger voters in Wales were misled with the free tuition fees pledge; we had free tuition but Labour recently brought them back.
-
If that's the case, it's another example of a bad campaign not fighting facts on the economy.
-
Labour in the 1990s introduced a "rapid rebuttal unit" to "correct" such misconceptions. May just left the field to the opposition.
-
It seemed to me the opposition lead this election in debate, Didn't see any leadership or direction from the Tories.
-
May et al were lazy and arrogant, and expected to walk it. They weren't even prepared for the election they called!

Corbyn did well but may have peaked, he doesn't have the reach of Blair. To win you must appeal outside your core supporters

I struggle to see exactly what May is good at, or for - neither a campaigner, nor a leader.
