We're facing an emergency at @shift (at least we think it is).
We're now working with 1,000+ soon-to-be veterans who want to participate in our 2020 fellowship programs, but there's many desired locations where we simply don't have partners yet.
The program:
Leave base
Travel to the city where you want to live
Ramp into a new culture
Get your housing figured out
Receive career support (call, text, DM whatever)
Land an offer at the host company
Start day 1 as a teammate with a huge internal network
To facilitate all of the above, we charge companies to partner with them and turn SkillBridge programs into repeatable hiring pipelines. So this week, we're announcing a new initiative: First Hire Free.
We'll handle all of the logistics/admin to land a DoD SkillBridge intern at your company. The catch? There has to be a full-time job that they can compete for (not guaranteed) after 2-3 months. We're working around the clock to deliver on our promise. http://shift.org/employers
