“The most sinister part is telling cast & crew the public doesn’t need to be notified about this.” Broadway whistleblower, an IATSE crew member, comes forward. Says all Broadway in danger of COVID shutdown. Has messaged me with specific allegations endangering cast/crew/audience:pic.twitter.com/UHx58RBCmB

More from the Broadway whistleblower, an IATSE crew member. Says careless adherence to COVID protocols threatening all of Broadway. A complete shutdown of Broadway will be self-inflicted…claims cast and crew members not getting support of theater owners or union.pic.twitter.com/wApxBDrjDl

Some people just don’t take COVID seriously!! I don’t get it. It will continue to go on and on. 🤬

Wow! Grateful I’m not seeing this happening on TV/Film sets. @sagaftra & networks have been on top of their game when it comes to Covid protocols.

        1) Why would the cast need to be paid an extra hour to accomodate a test that takes 15 minutes? 2) Since taking the test keeps everyone in the cast/company safe, produces results in 15 min AND is being paid for by their employers....why expect extra pay?

Because the testing site is not at the theater you're working at. It's done at one single site for all of Broadway. It's out of the way.

Right? Broadway actors and crew were impacted more than anyone in the entertainment field. I honestly am truly shocked that anyone is being this cavalier about it! For God's sake, you were out of work for almost A YEAR AND A HALF.
