Tomi Lahren tweeted out a hoax today suggesting that Sen. Elizabeth Warren has a racist decoration in her kitchen. It's a pretty good hint about what parts of the internet Lahren likes to hang out in

"Donald Trump is either going to be impeached by the Congress or impeached at the ballot box. It's really a race to which one will happen first." I'd prefer that voters wield the power in 2020, but Congress won't turn a blind eye, either.

On a Twitter bender today bc the main lesson of the superb by is that when the stuff goes down - and it will - it ALL comes down to strong and principled people in DOJ. I know career people on the line are good to go, but am worried about a sycophant at the top.

FWIW, , not even a declaration of “national emergency” would enable Trump to seize the private property needed for his wall without specific authorization from Congress. Truman learned that the hard way in SCOTUS’s Steel Seizure decision (1952)(enjoining the seizure).

Mueller's grand jury was just extended. So everyone who's been trying to sell you a line about the Mueller investigation being nearly over? You should not believe those people.

He’s insane. Really. That’s crazy talk. As in, this guy should be in a padded cell talking to make believe friends and family, because he literally believes his projections are truth. That’s bonkers in a mad as a hatter way.

The R Kelly tape is not a sex tape...it’s child pornography. He did not have sex with these girls (as people keep saying) he raped them. The language around this matters.

Central lesson of Korematsu is that very bad things happen when the President uses the national emergency excuse to violate the Constitution. The House has the Power of the Purse. The notion that can usurp that power by making up a "national emergency" is preposterous.

Storytelling is how we humanize public policy. It's what saved the ACA. It's what did with Jeff Flake on that elevator. It's what brought us the original Progressive movement. More please.

As the shutdown hits two weeks, it's important to remember what Trump said Dec. 11. Trump: If we don't get what we want, one way or the other... I will shut down the government ... So I will take the mantle. I will be the one to shut it down. I'm not going to blame you for it.
