I wish the hosts hadn’t glossed over his sadness re Brexit. A whole generation- generations really, who fought in WWll, Korea, & Vietnam, soldiers who sacrificed & fought for unity for the world, are witnessing a reversal of their progress. This backward direction will not serve.

They 'were' empathetic by telling him to not to put himself down. As the news is live; timing was against them and responding fully to how he felt about Brexit would have meant cutting him short.....there is no doubt he is a very lovely and brave man.
