Heaven forbid a woman uses a curse word!! The president has called people every name in the book and it’s all like “meh that’s just the way it is!” NOT ANYMORE. Props to her for saying how she actually feels.

I hope she spends all her time focused on impeachment. It would limit the damage her terrible policy ideas would cause if she had time to work on them.

on the fence about the strategy of digging in, but I think using the exact excuse the R's use when trump is being trump is brilliant.

“Let Trump be Trump” and so “Let Tlaib be Tlaib”. This is the new political discourse as born during the Republican Presidential primaries and election. Reap. Sow. Repeat.
-
Right. "When they go low, we go just as low" is always the way to win the hearts and minds.
-
Come on guys, everyone knows that political incivility began with Trump. There is definitely no record of incivility in all the past history of politics...
-
He took it from a 2 to an 11.
-
In 2012Joe Biden told a room full of black voters that Mitt Romney was “gonna put y’all back in chains”. That’s an 11 for me dog.. Barack Obama said “republicans need to go to the back of the bus”. So when you insult people like that, that’s where you get the polarization.
-
And Republicans USED to disapprove of that type of language. They now have decided they like it.
-
You cant just group everyone together & say all republicans used to disapprove of that language, but that is the play isn’t it? Implying that, at present, all republicans no longer disapprove? We are not the ones swarming officials at restaurants, you have no moral high ground.
-
80% of Republicans like him and approve of his language. 19% clutch their pearls at his coarseness but support him because of his judicial appointments. 1% oppose him.

Doubling down on idiotic remarks is very Trump-like
-
Nothing she said was idiotic.

-
My bad, it is definitely very smart for a public servant representing hundreds of thousands of people in Congress to talk like an angry 15 year old.
-
Yes, talking like a relatable human being instead of a programmed political robot is very fucking smart.
