Please RT Q: We have many legacy Windows File Servers. Is there a way to migrate these to newer versions? A: Yes! Use the Windows Server Storage Migration Service (SMS). SMS makes it easier to migrate your older Windows Server File Servers (2003 & later) to 2022. (Yes, 2003+)

Since #NewYearsEve is Saturday and New year’s day is Sunday, the work holiday is generally observed on the following Monday. I found this out in 2012 after commuting an hour to an empty office.

People are signing off for the year. Just wanted to say thanks to the incredible #Intune community for a fantastic 2022. The return of in-person Ignite, my first MMS, and some amazing product launches. Happy holidays to you and yours. 🥂

None of my other socials are set up for the type of engagement I do here. Linkedin is probably the best for #Intune and #career stuff. Tech Community for planned events. My IG is just car stuff. Nothing really on FB. If all else fails, maybe open a support case 😉

Hey this is really neat. Remember hearing many requests about this when working on Firewall policies!

With the 2022-12 cumulative updates for Windows 10 and Windows 11, new MDM settings are available under the NetworkListManager CSP. If the client can successfully connect to the specified TLS endpoint it will switch to the domain firewall profile. See linkedin.com/pulse/azure-ad.

If Twitter is going down, then I have a confession to make. I am not actually Monsieur “Monsieur le maire” Madeleine. I was actually Jean Valjean this whole time. 🫡

What do you think of where we display imported settings in #MSIntune? Do you like how imported ADMX settings are separated today, or should they be in their own folder but combined in the settings catalog?

Have any of you #IT folks enforced GP or MDM policy specifically with the goal of reducing carbon footprint for your corporate devices? Would you like/use some policy suggestions with potential impact estimates? 🤔 #MSIntune

More updates to the ADMX import doc. Just submitted another change to mention you should only upload these if it is a required namespace. The ADMX-backed CSP settings won't work via ADMXInstall. Shout outs to our incredible docs team. (~ ̄▽ ̄)~
