    I don't give a toss about the cricket, but Australia as we know has been unwinding since Howard became PM, Abbott accelerated it and Turnbull underwrote the sheer banality of corporate greed. Most of the western world is in decline as capitalism eats itself.

    They want to play again. They are contrite and to appeal even if just to ask to play some state cricket would be misconstrued by many as not being contrite.
