    It was a great honor to celebrate Passover at the Jewish Federation’s Seder at the Israel Levin Senior Center at Venice last night. Community leaders of all faiths from around LA came together to break bread, celebrate liberation, & remember those who remain shackled & oppressed.

    We broke ground this morning on Via Dolce Park, a new pocket park in Marina del Rey. When the park opens, it will have a play area, native landscaping, art and educational displays to encourage appreciation of the nearby Ballona Lagoon. Stay tuned for the July grand opening!

    The Mar Vista teenager founded Stella’s Socks, a nonprofit that has donated 100,000 pairs of stocks over the past year to people living on the streets in Los Angeles. Once a month, Stella and her peers go to Venice, Skid Row and other hotspots to pass out the socks. (2/3)

    Started the day by making it safer for kids to walk to school in Playa Vista. and I installed new all-way stop sign & crosswalk at Bluff Creek Dr & Dawn Creek Dr, near Playa Vista Elementary School. More pedestrian & student safety measures to come!
