    ⚠️ JUST IN: The weekly drought update shows that areas of "Exceptional" drought have been completely erased thanks to a combo of rainfall & cooler temps. We saw significant improvement across , but severe (or worse) drought still impacts half of us

    Our survey teams have confirmed two tornadoes so far: one in NE Burnsville near Hwy 13 & Cliff Rd and one in Apple Valley near Hwy 77(Cedar Ave) & 145th St. No EF rating has been given at this time.

    Here's the Sky4 view near the Burnsville/Apple Valley line. All of this damage was cause by "just" a severe t-storm and straight line winds. My point: severe t-storms can be just as damaging (or moreso) than tornadoes. They can produce winds as strong and are physically larger
