This is an issue at Stewart Detention Center, families uncertain of visiting hours for men and women and whether visits are open do to Covid numbers. When families call SDC seeking answers to basic questions, the phone rings and rings. Sometimes a guard answers and then hangs up.

Under Biden, the number of people in immigration detention has DOUBLED (while the number of people surveilled by ICE enforcement-based monitoring programs has QUADRUPLED). Today, nearly 30,000 people are subject to ICE’s abuses across its detention system.
