i guess im upset that the government and rich are so intertwined that i cant tell who im mad at anymore. those who get rich are just benefiting from a broken system and those who become politicians are part of a system they seemingly cant change, so i vent on twitter lol

Those 2 points also aren't mutually exclusive. A lot of rich people could easily work with the people to fix the government, but they choose to avoid doing just that. I don't blame people for being skeptical or disappointed with "small" donations especially during these times.
