    The Mid Suffolk Railway are inviting local crafters and artisans to bring a stall to our Santa Special events. If anyone is interested in bringing a stall along to our event or would like further information to contact events@mslr.org.uk

    The Santa Specials are now fully booked and a waiting list is set up on the Mid Suffolk Railway website booking page for automatic enrolling should there be any cancellations.

    The bar and café will open this Friday 8th October from 6pm, usual offerings with Victoria Bitter and Brandeston Gold on tap. The evenings are getting a bit chilly and most of our customers will be lighting their log fires,so next Friday 15th will be the last bar of the season

    The Middy café and bar will be open as normal, from 6pm this Friday serving our usual food selection courtesy of Sue and Michael, and the bar has the very best from Earl Soham Brewery (Victoria Bitter, Brandeston Gold and Gannet Mild) all served by Emma and Ian.

    Middy Bar Open as usual this Friday and it's a Shortts Farm special with Hunky Dory (fruity golden ale), Two Tone (dark mild), and The Cure (best bitter); again the outlook for Friday is dry and warm.  Also we're pleased to announce the installation of our pub sign!

    The railway enthusiasts may have finished for the season but in the cafe and bar we are still steaming on so we're open this Friday with Earl Soham ales and Shortts Farm Two Tone. The gazebos are now providing some shelter next to the bar the outlook for Friday is dry and warm

    Steam Railway Day & BMW Club 70th Anniversary meet 12 Sep 2021 -This will be our last normal open day of the 2021 season. We are looking forward to hosting a visit from the BMW Motorcycle Club.

    Middy Café and Bar id open as usual this Friday with Earl Soham's Victoria and Brandeston Gold, Gannet Mild and Sir Roger's Porter, all straight from the cask.Also we are pleased to confirm that we can take card payments, our card devices are back up and running.
