Does the acquisition, requirements and learning curve of assistive technology potentially pose more barriers to people with disabilities and those who are aging? If more accessibility were integrated would there be as much of a need for A.T. and thus those potential barriers?

Integrated is KEY. We looked for assistive technology for dyslexic readers/writers, overlaid assistive tech was overwhelming. We needed to be willing to become tech experts and try 100 things... Eventually, with less trying, we decided the tech available was of minimal help.

The most useful thing we found was Apple’s built-in dictation.
