Lord, let me die in the shining sun Staring my enemies in their eyes. Lord, let me die in the driving rain So my blood washes away unseen. Lord, let me die in the darkest night Stepping into shadows as I go. Lord, let me die before my story And turn my white bones into legend.

This is so unexpected and wonderful. Thank you for doing this. I'll have to pitch this in church next Sunday.

U sure? (see https://twitter.com/Leigh90264928/status/1043193776896847873 …) This might well fit in a fantasy novel, but not in *actual* church. However I would quite like to hear it sung by a native speaker. (I'm German and my pronunciation is bad). Tell me if you need chords or an arrangement. I'll figure it out.

Leigh Goodwin, MBA @Leigh90264928Replying to @MicroFlashFicThis is whacked!!! Why would anyone pray for a certain death? Pray 4 a better world or adaptability. I pray that my enemies find happiness & propserity. If they remain an enemy that disses me then I might pray that they die and I usually get an answer. They change or I change.2 replies 1 retweet 4 likes
Everyone dies. All deaths are certain. But the quality of deaths varies wildly. Personally, I just don't want to die in a way that makes strangers laugh.
