What, no MIDI version so we can sing along at home?
-
Don’t look at me, I’m no musician.
-
@MajimeKoala I have a Deal for you: I (the composer) make you that MIDI version and you then send me a record of yourself singing along. Deal? -
_xlf, I have one of the worst singing voices you could imagine. No key. No sense of rhythm. I don't want you to lose your love of music, so we should give up!
-
Oh, I think my love for music would certainly survive. I mean, I still like English even after having heard myself speaking English. Anyways, here's what my sheet music software gave me when I asked it for a MIDI file with lyrics. https://www.magentacloud.de/share/atk2v1k26w …
-
@MajimeKoala is this the format you wanted? -
I was having trouble downloading on my phone, so I'll try tonight on my computer. If not, my wife has offered to accompany me on piano. In the mean time, prepare your earplugs!

This is whacked!!! Why would anyone pray for a certain death? Pray 4 a better world or adaptability. I pray that my enemies find happiness & propserity. If they remain an enemy that disses me then I might pray that they die and I usually get an answer. They change or I change.
-
I thought the same when i read MFF's text. However, I think this would fit quite well in a fantasy novel and I couldn't read it without singing in my head, so I wrote the tune down anyways.
-
I agree. Fantasy or some other Sci- fi genre. It sounds a little Edgar Allan Poe- ish. 'Happiness & Prosperity' for my enemies- I gotta get better at editing my spelling in my post quickly.
-
Amin is a terrible key for a happiness+prosperity song.
-
This one isn't happy for me, already the text. However, I currently enjoy playing Irish dances on the violin, and they frequently *are* in (A) minor. (Maybe they are in aeolian though, I am no expert.) Minor might be sad in classical music, but it doesn't have to be.
-
Irish jigs and reels are the most popular tunes in Revolutionary war graveyards. Old ghosts like a good dance tune.
