Interesting. The opposite of the AI dystopia where in pursuit of a singular goal like signing a signature well an experimental computer views humanity as a block to efficiency? I've described capitalism as robotic thus. Preferential attachment has some basis in network physics.

But the universe is an ecology. Network dynamics and feedback mechanisms work together in a kind of squishy squashy equilibrium between distorting factors and equal and opposite reactions. I love the way sci fi and fantasy tackle this stuff! Asimov's laws maybe need updating tho
