Real estate doesn't stop being a problem when you die. Fewer of the newly dead move on each year. Spirits used to battle for the right to haunt a house. Now, these fights spill over into apartments, parks, empty lots— little corners that used to be the center of someone’s world.

Exactly this. Did you know that, with the passage of time and growth of the city around it, the 2.5 acre, flower-filled property I grew up on is now prime real estate for that city's 5th walmart? No. That is MY house, and I'm not moving I will haunt the cookie aisle if I have to
