She'd read Plato's "The Republic" while waiting for dates. When he mentioned the book, she'd say "I love PlayDough." If he could resist correcting her, they'd have a lovely time. If not, she'd say, "The object of education is to teach us to love what is beautiful," and walk away.

I wouldn't call it control as much as superiority. Both are bad & one can lead to the other but they aren't the same. I know I'm currently being pedantic now, but I'm not asking you to agree. Just giving my 2 cents
