Did you know Social Security (FICA) taxes are only taken out on the first $160,200 a person makes in 2023? This means those making more don’t pay taxes on that income. If the rich paid FICA taxes like the rest of us problems with depleting the Social Security trust fund is solved

The College Board Strips Down Its A.P. Curriculum for African American Studies After criticism from Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida, the official course looks different: No more critical race theory, and the study of contemporary topics — like Black Lives Matter — is optional.
It is a disservice to not name this as fascist. The lack of courage by the College Board, its lying to the public about why it capitulated, and the failure of the corporate media to name what is happening is putting us on the very brink.
