Maybe I’m missing something, but it certainly looks like that tear gas canisters was freshly deployed, which would explain the folks being shown running away, AND the fact that some might not have noticed yet.

I hope you have as much empathy for those in NC still waiting to receive Hurricane Matthew relief monies, and now Hurricane Florence
You have no idea what these people are going through. Is the fact that these parents are doing this despite the clear danger in doing so not indicative of what they’re up against? We clearly have different definitions of the “shining city upon a hill”.Or even those in Florida who lost their homes to Hurricane Michael or how about those in the Camp Fires of California?

I’m not sure what you’re getting at here Michele, but I can assure you that Americans are a resilient and resourceful people. We can walk and chew gum at the same time. We can care for our family and our friends. At least if we choose to.

What I'm getting at is as stated above - folks in the USA are suffering, and before we support invaders, we need to support our fellow Americans.
