No, but I have taken a self-defense class and knee to the groin is one of the moves we were taught. I think a kick would be harder to aim (at least for me).

Knee, yes. Born in 1967 and this is how my generation was taught to deal with a man who won't let us go. It worked great.

Yes to the knee! I remember someone telling me you had a better chance of making an impact if you punched rather than kicked, but I didn’t believe it because I didn’t have any upper body strength.

My sister taught me when I was very small that if a boy picked on me, to kick him in the shin. And if that didn't stop him, kick him in the crotch. Didn't help me much.

Yes. It is *far* more difficult to accomplish than people like to think. I'd say it's ineffective as self-defense. Men know how to defend that area. And if you try and miss........ Going after less obvious prssure points is far more effective.

Eyeballs? That’s the only other thing I knew about. Oh, and hair pulling. Men were supposed to have more sensitive scalps. But I’m talking 1970’s
