Why should he? He is appointed to protect EU27 interests, not UK interests. You'd better demand of your own ministers to keep the UK interest in mind, and not the interests of a few elite.

Wish I have a comforting word that could help the Scottish. Not that many options left if you wish to stay in the EU. Still, if all forces pulled together there may be a real chance for an un-Brexit process.

Do not give promises you cannot keep. The UK is leaving the CFP & taking back our fishing grounds. The EU will have to pay the UK if they want to fish in our waters, just as the UK will pay to be member of certain groups but, we will be setting the quoters.
