I never understood this obsession with fishing.
It is not an obsession with fishing. It is about principle and honour and righting wrongs made decades ago. Our fishing fleet was destroyed and as a result was ordered by EU to scrap it's boats and take paltry compensation. Towns and livelihoods were destroyed with them.
Is it a mixed agreement that needs ratifying through each member state one by one?

The what? A bill isn’t law so doesn’t affect anything. Do you mean the EU fisheries directives which were voted on and approved by the UK?
