An important question for the MPs to debate, why have a deadline at all to find a post-Brexit trade deal? It’s going to take years to find rules & agreements, regulations for jobs, businesses, trading rules, travels and much more to be agreed. Huge paperwork & too little time!

Understood. EU has the single market to protect. UK should have well thought the complexity through on Brexit and have a plan of a deal. At the moment the UK government decided to back ourselves into a corner for no deal. We need more time for that.

Speaking as a British citizen please do not degrade your principles just to get a deal with the UK. The Prime Minister & his Govt still do not understand that they cannot have all the benefits of EU membership without the obligations that flow from such. Protect SM/EU citizens
