partnership to EP & Council for discussion. It shows ambitious & comprehensive future relationship is possible. We must give ourselves every chance of success.

Our British Brexit fanatics will still ask for unicorns Michel. Complete, free, frictionless trade with the Single Market without a level playing field and ignoring the common rules other European countries agree to.

How about if the EU also agrees to meet the U.K. standards on environment, state aid etc. Then it would be a level playing field, otherwise maybe the EU doesn’t get tariff free, frictionless access to the U.K. market ... would you consider that to be fair?
