I don't know if many of my followers enjoy Gini coefficients, but this recent paper by Sam Bowles & Wendy Carlin made me stop and rethink. "Inequality as experienced difference: A reformulation of the Gini coefficient"

Incredible de facto social science experiment. Collective honking resets red light countdown to more time. Will it reduce honking? I think so

Economists travel a lot for work (I’m as guilty as anyone). Given individl incentives/career concerns (seminars etc.) is there a way we can coordinate to collectively reduce travel norm in the 2020s (not just offsets)? Have other (enviro minded) disciplines solved this problem?
