    Deeply saddened to hear of the death of soprano Cara O’Sullivan. She had a beautiful voice and the warmest personality. Cork is very proud of her legacy and I will always value our friendship. Deepest sympathy to Christine and her wider family. R.I.P. Cara.

    It’s a source of great pride in Ireland that the great-grandson of Irish emigrants has become the President of the United States of America, a great democracy.   Both of us are very keen to cement that very historic relationship between America and Ireland.
