Durkan, Richie and McDonnell were rejected by people. Why doesn’t FF end their abstentionism from elections in the 6 +are willing to take oath of allegiance to a foreign head of state, a monarchy no less. It’d be fun seeing nationalists send you back down with tails between legs

Except Sinn Féin are abstaining from representing the North as much as any Southern Party does these days. They have made absolutely no difference to Northern Politics in two years. They may as well disband in the North for the little they are doing with their mandate.

Sinn Féin have instead just planned to grobble to Leo Varadkar. I guess if this keeps up the merger with Fine Gael will finely be on the cards again.
