    For two years I've been arguing the Democrats should match their outrage over what Trump has done with EQUAL outrage over what Trump has NOT done: failed to deliver on promise after promise about jobs, health care, reform.

    Foxconn got a $4B tax incentive package to build a huge factory in Wisconsin, a plan urged by Trump. Contractors bulldozed 75 homes and cleared hundreds of acres. Then Foxconn retreated. By Dec. 31, the company spent 1% of its pledged investment.

    This is ... toothless. Does anyone think these people can be shamed, after all we've seen so far? Broadly speaking, Dems should consider the course of action that is suggesting instead:

    Rosenstein letter to Trump praises the "courtesy & humor you often display in our personal conversations." Trump suggested RR was "planning a very illegal act" on 25th Amendment. Trump suggested he was "totally conflicted." Trump said he had "the right to absolutely fire him."

    He crossed lines of tolerating White House involvement in a criminal probe that NONE of his predecessors -- none -- ever crossed, What comes next may indeed be worse. But nothing excuses the damage he did to the office of the DAG.

    I recognize this is a minority view, but Rod Rosenstein's tenure, for its many faults also included moments of genuine service to and defense of this nation. And deep down, I fear he is someone we may miss when he is gone.
