    Really thoughtful article worth reading. Climate change poses risk and resilience challenges not only about how best to identify & manage, but also how to allocate. And as the article suggests, it means a real rethinking of what historically has typified the processes at play.

    One thing that struck me in writing this story: When it comes to prioritizing climate resilience for disadvantaged communities, what counts as disadvantaged? FEMA offers 15 possible criteria, raising the question of which places, if any, *don't* qualify.

    This gets many many things wrong (I don't see how calling climate disclosures 'eco-disclosures' dismisses them, I kinda like it??) But more importantly: analyzing future physical climate risks and "attribution science" are not the same thing.

    Well put. This roadmap is an important read and clear-eyed from the first line on -- "climate change poses serious and systemic risks to the U.S. economy and financial system."

    This is a strong climate roadmap from the federal government on efforts to protect the US financial system including federal financial resources deserves praise.
