Creating playlists does not give me the functionality I had. You took a feature away from me for no good reason. Two people can't use a common play queue on their own devices this way. To work around that, I just installed the Android app.
@youtube @TeamYouTube @Google Can any one of you explain why you're consistently making my experience using Youtube on my Chromebook worse? First, desktop site no longer supports play queues, so while I can cast videos, I have to do it one at a time, or create a "playlist"

That worked okay, but the UI is crap for a screen this size, particularly the text size in the comments. Now, the Youtube app just updated, the UI got somehow even uglier, and I can't scroll with the trackpad on my Chromebook! I HAVE to use the touch screen!

It just seems every time something changes in Youtube, I lose features or functionality. Nothing has changed for the better for me in years. The last positive change was Youtube Red coming free with my existing Play Music subscription, and eliminating ads.

Update: restarting the Chromebook didn't help. Clearing cache, uninstalling and reinstalling the app restored the scrolling functionality. Why did that even break in the first place?!
