The farm owner's name inspired Tom Mankiewicz (screenplay writer) to name the villain, Dr Kanaga (played by Yaphet Kotto), after the stunt was suggested for inclusion in

Genuinely thought that scene mustve been done with fake crocs or camera trickery...that it was done once is remarkable, that there were 5 or 6 takes....and one where he's just in the water with them...
