A few things: 1. In that article, Fauci wasn't talking about the rate with a lockdown. He was just talking about the rate. Read the article. He even explains the issue of selection bias that makes the "10 times more deadly" BS he was feeding us at the same time wrong.

2. Yes. Lockdown did nothing. The reason it's never been done before is that it's pseudoscientific BS that had no chance of doing anything. I'm going to give you a list of references which I hope you'll read since this is time consuming & I have work I should be doing instead.

3. The country with the strictest lockdown has the worst COVID death rate whereas countries like Japan & Korea that had no lockdown had hardly any deaths.https://jordanschachtel.substack.com/p/the-worlds-toughest-lockdown-has …

4. Many studies have been done on all the data we have and not a single one found that I've seen said lockdown had any effect except for some that found it increased spread or deaths. This article discusses 8 studies.https://mises.org/wire/evidence-keeps-piling-lockdowns-dont-work …

Previous article also mentions research done before lockdown which said there was no evidence it would work. Even the CDC in 2017 admitted that there isn't evidence that social distancing does anything. https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/66/rr/rr6601a1.htm …pic.twitter.com/UXxHk6fTdl

Here's European Centre for Disease Prevention on effectiveness of workplace closures. If you look at link you'll see there's not really any solid evidence for ANY social distancing measures. https://www.ecdc.europa.eu/sites/default/files/media/en/publications/Publications/0906_TER_Public_Health_Measures_for_Influenza_Pandemics.pdf …pic.twitter.com/qgOLWXwEQF

Here's another literature review that concluded this. Notice to that the only studies we had are for influenza. So even if they'd shown anything it wouldln't have proved anything about COVID. But they didn't anyway. http://www.upmc-biosecurity.org/website/resources/publications/2006/2006-09-15-diseasemitigationcontrolpandemicflu.html …pic.twitter.com/5x1anPiaRu

And everything we know about viruses made it a given that social distancing would do nothing. They travel in tiny pockets of moisture called aerosols that may travel across the ocean. https://watermark.silverchair.com/11-3-494.pdf?token=AQECAHi208BE49Ooan9kkhW_Ercy7Dm3ZL_9Cf3qfKAc485ysgAAAqIwggKeBgkqhkiG9w0BBwagggKPMIICiwIBADCCAoQGCSqGSIb3DQEHATAeBglghkgBZQMEAS4wEQQMVi_tAcUT43x3UjSCAgEQgIICVaXsKAN9LVpX8E0C2PqU-bANtxyKBv8LxA8xaKFcfNcrM_bnAeB2P1IOLdWNdOBy-A7PesqPVs7OfDNUP9zallD2Viyhk2uftcRgeoq_PgODkpzlGZGa7kqzzkajPrgRpHA-rR48xx5V9VjefpaA2u-zSMX05jnHxv3ESOUtXM6Fm8utVewBF6wgMVTIYATVuwv-B-hDsnEMGiHNTOfAK4LYDcZ3l8EXwCkCuxTXCzV0U-8QThnaMk4Wi94A88CkvMHrPe4MumezPps_AkG3elrWrGe2k_3mWSpAeos7Y4zGJJA0m3s4z_QhjqDC2rQL7LRhMsdDBecRNbFgByFRaSMFzA3ryLuWpYwof9ql1lQSb47pm3IveIVMSQqu17cCH0qHjx4ByPu1i-bIoga0LGcF5Hh5hYS7MmQbm_z8kFgCnZXxc4FKLND3Wa7rjFmMROcLEt8uxhKhCW4hJu2O1vqVaGse6CWWnmZ-m6DGx8rz7mqI0Sq1G7ayHA8bj9-pyUayCnQbGu0qXl3GLdHA2X9HWQWnpKYJlfVgENRco8BbEkUoGRwR_4lEwVDUxPBtbD1-Uv01kpnhGJ6S-1O1wFQ6XjXnawpC8bqQ5MiphnSyRKbxxydYhQc0pycHtfOJAhIFixQchPNNufh1m0C-AdGb_PJchRTOk1U9j8pNgyJetfcl5LaSemxYpIgwr67hb3-SZltJGv9ruGs9UeavdOR5oU9A6RyT6S3NBL-9DOZpEiSw2h4yAM_lmS22joPVUUuGdx3QRaKRMy-xGD9yUTMG3V6x6Q …pic.twitter.com/fIALFwBNzu

In 1969, some people in Antarctica experienced a spontaneous respiratory virus outbreak in their 17th week of isolation. In Antarctica for God's sake! https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2130424/ …pic.twitter.com/h31XsmkxPx

Even more to the point, COVID researchers have actually found live COVID virus in aerosols 16 feet away from the only people who could have shed them. That's as far as they checked. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/08/11/health/coronavirus-aerosols-indoors.html …pic.twitter.com/KymkAp1tCk

Anyway, there's more but I need to get to work. But bottom line is everyone including Fauci knew fatality rate would be at worst around the flu's in March. He's be no means the only person who said that. And, as I said...

...if u read his article you'll see that Fauci even explained why the higher fatality rate he fed us were BS. And everyone knew that social distancing was BS the whole time too. I mean, think about, how is it that we never heard about it before?...
