      1. Yes, from exactly the same time he was telling you it was AT LEAST 10 times deadlier than the flu & pushing for lockdown. Stop being a sucker. 2. See tweet further down. Stop being a sucker. Do some research.

but they never had a lockdown for the flu, you just don't think that affected the outcome? the chart shows there have been almost as many deaths in six months as ten years of the flu with no lock downs

A few things: 1. In that article, Fauci wasn't talking about the rate with a lockdown. He was just talking about the rate. Read the article. He even explains the issue of selection bias that makes the "10 times more deadly" BS he was feeding us at the same time wrong.

      2. Yes. Lockdown did nothing. The reason it's never been done before is that it's pseudoscientific BS that had no chance of doing anything. I'm going to give you a list of references which I hope you'll read since this is time consuming & I have work I should be doing instead.

Previous article also mentions research done before lockdown which said there was no evidence it would work. Even the CDC in 2017 admitted that there isn't evidence that social distancing does anything. https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/66/rr/rr6601a1.htm …pic.twitter.com/UXxHk6fTdl

Here's European Centre for Disease Prevention on effectiveness of workplace closures. If you look at link you'll see there's not really any solid evidence for ANY social distancing measures. https://www.ecdc.europa.eu/sites/default/files/media/en/publications/Publications/0906_TER_Public_Health_Measures_for_Influenza_Pandemics.pdf …pic.twitter.com/qgOLWXwEQF

Here's another literature review that concluded this. Notice to that the only studies we had are for influenza. So even if they'd shown anything it wouldln't have proved anything about COVID. But they didn't anyway. http://www.upmc-biosecurity.org/website/resources/publications/2006/2006-09-15-diseasemitigationcontrolpandemicflu.html …pic.twitter.com/5x1anPiaRu

And everything we know about viruses made it a given that social distancing would do nothing. They travel in tiny pockets of moisture called aerosols that may travel across the ocean. https://watermark.silverchair.com/11-3-494.pdf?token=AQECAHi208BE49Ooan9kkhW_Ercy7Dm3ZL_9Cf3qfKAc485ysgAAAqIwggKeBgkqhkiG9w0BBwagggKPMIICiwIBADCCAoQGCSqGSIb3DQEHATAeBglghkgBZQMEAS4wEQQMVi_tAcUT43x3UjSCAgEQgIICVaXsKAN9LVpX8E0C2PqU-bANtxyKBv8LxA8xaKFcfNcrM_bnAeB2P1IOLdWNdOBy-A7PesqPVs7OfDNUP9zallD2Viyhk2uftcRgeoq_PgODkpzlGZGa7kqzzkajPrgRpHA-rR48xx5V9VjefpaA2u-zSMX05jnHxv3ESOUtXM6Fm8utVewBF6wgMVTIYATVuwv-B-hDsnEMGiHNTOfAK4LYDcZ3l8EXwCkCuxTXCzV0U-8QThnaMk4Wi94A88CkvMHrPe4MumezPps_AkG3elrWrGe2k_3mWSpAeos7Y4zGJJA0m3s4z_QhjqDC2rQL7LRhMsdDBecRNbFgByFRaSMFzA3ryLuWpYwof9ql1lQSb47pm3IveIVMSQqu17cCH0qHjx4ByPu1i-bIoga0LGcF5Hh5hYS7MmQbm_z8kFgCnZXxc4FKLND3Wa7rjFmMROcLEt8uxhKhCW4hJu2O1vqVaGse6CWWnmZ-m6DGx8rz7mqI0Sq1G7ayHA8bj9-pyUayCnQbGu0qXl3GLdHA2X9HWQWnpKYJlfVgENRco8BbEkUoGRwR_4lEwVDUxPBtbD1-Uv01kpnhGJ6S-1O1wFQ6XjXnawpC8bqQ5MiphnSyRKbxxydYhQc0pycHtfOJAhIFixQchPNNufh1m0C-AdGb_PJchRTOk1U9j8pNgyJetfcl5LaSemxYpIgwr67hb3-SZltJGv9ruGs9UeavdOR5oU9A6RyT6S3NBL-9DOZpEiSw2h4yAM_lmS22joPVUUuGdx3QRaKRMy-xGD9yUTMG3V6x6Q …pic.twitter.com/fIALFwBNzu
