The general population doesn’t seem to grasp what a huge scam our current system actually is. We all suffer. And don’t even get fantastic care (on a relative level)
I agree. The Healthcare & pharmaceutical companies along with doctors & other service providers are gauging the system, overcharging & submitting fraudulent claims. Single payer system where cost of services are negotiated with a large base of subscribers takes their power away.

I really don’t even think most doctors are in on the take-they’re mostly just employees somewhere. But my ex was/is in managed health & I learned way too much during those years to think our system is really about any person’s health.

I worked for HealthNet for some time and it was clear that health insurance companies only care about what most major companies care about - profits.
