) but WOW. I didn’t realise this was an automatic thing in the US! This is male genital mutilation exactly the same as FGM, why is it so accepted by the west?! -
A variety of reasons, religious exemptions, people who believe that MGM is not as bad as FGM, drastic lack of education on the subject.
