    Today’s GDP numbers are a welcome milestone. The American economy is now above its pre-pandemic level. This was not destined to happen. Our recovery is the result of smart policy choices and a government that can execute them.

    Last month Connecticut became the first state in the country to make prison phone calls free. It’s a huge victory for the incarcerated and their families and will transform the lives of children with incarcerated parents. Every single state should do this.

    Disinformation will destroy democracy.

    We are seeing a rise in disinformation sites. In Stockton the 209Times was given a 17.5% (out of 100) rating for trustworthiness by . The problem is statewide and national. We have to reach critical thinking and support/fund actual news.

    The FOP has gone harder against people who protested police brutality than a mob who literally brutalized police. The latter of course, were acting on behalf of the candidate the FOP endorsed and worked to get elected, in the name of law and order.
