I can really see parents all over Texas thinking that if there's no football there's no reason for their kid to go to school.

For some kids, sports is why they get their high school education. For others, they go to school for band. Others go to school for friends. Others to eat.

I feel the same way about my kid & band. There were lots of days last fall where she only went to school so she could go to band practice afterward. TX high school football is no joke but if the universities are canceling their seasons, what makes HS teams think they shouldn’t?
