Did the President of the United States just throw a temper tantrum and storm out of a national security summit with our closest allies?

Instead of gasps, audible laughter and sighs of relief were heard from the crowd. At least that's what I hear people talking about.

The world is laughing at us. Democracy circles the drain and Trump the Toddler throws yet another tantrum. We need a grown up in the White House and we need one now.

Good we should keep on walking right out of NATO!
WHAT IS NATO WITHOUT AMERICAN'S PAYING THE BILLS AND DYING IN FOREIGN LANDS FOR OTHER COUNTRIES BORDERS?
NATO has no purpose! The Soviet Union has fallen!
We are not world's police force no more!

He did. However he's not wrong that others didn't fulfil their 2% contribution, I'm just surprised Canada is among the list of those avoiding responsibilities. The president should have a "cut off date - or else" scenerio where USA will cut its contribution if it continues.

Canceling the meeting that hasn’t started yet is very different than storming out of a meeting as you are implying. Or should I say you just exaggerate to get attention
