Apparently taking health advice from an unqualified wellness guru, who confuses the word “google” with the verb “research”, may not be good for your health.... Who knew, eh? 🤨https://www.news.com.au/lifestyle/real-life/news-life/the-dark-side-of-instagram-influencers/news-story/9538cd51f9f0a8c45dca4da42080967e …

Wellness and health are two separate constructs. Health is the business of doctors whilst wellness is a neoglism that allows non -doctors to make a living without the hassle of winning a place at Med school and studying hard for at least 5 years.

And the non-doctors in the wellness business are probably making a lot more money through their marketing efforts and understanding their customers' "needs"

Randomized Clinical Trials are not very helpful for studying nutrition interventions because there are so many variables - all nutrients are needed in balance. -- "Nutrition-sensitive food systems: from rhetoric to action" https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lancet/article/PIIS0140-6736(13)61053-3/fulltext …
