    Best of luck to with the debate today to introduce a public advocate to help bereaved families navigate the justice system after public disasters. The scales of justice have been weighted in favour of the wealthy and powerful for too long.

    🧱 Was great to dust off my old trowel and help lay some of the bricks at the new Shakespeare North. 🎭 I'm really excited for the playhouse to open next year. It'll be an amazing resource for the local community and should attract people from all over!

    🧱 TO BE OR NOT TO BE | joined and to lay some of the final bricks on the new Shakespeare North Playhouse in Prescot. The project, which has benefitted from more than £10m of Combined Authority funding, is due to open next year.

    Yesterday, joined to visit in Bowring Park. It is a project led by the community, growing food for communities across Knowsley.

    It was lovely to have a visit from The Metro Mayor Steve Rotheram and Councillor Graham Morgan yesterday supporting the project. They also put some freshly grown tomatoes that had been grown on site and harvested that morning. Thank you for the visit

    Tory austerity has real consequences. It shatters people's lives. People like Chris. I made Housing First a priority when I was elected because I believed in its power to transform lives - and give people much needed second chances. Stories like this show why.

    In just a few years, Housing First has had a remarkable impact. But government so far hasn't guaranteed funding beyond next year. That means over 1000 vulnerable people risk being cut adrift and having their support pulled out from under them. Housing First work. Let's fund it.

    Really sorry to have to update that Colin has gone missing again. He absconded from hospital earlier today, was seen in Liverpool City Centre and then last tracked to Conway Park Station in Birkenhead. Police are aware. Please get looking and help keep him safe.
