  1. Best of luck to with the debate today to introduce a public advocate to help bereaved families navigate the justice system after public disasters. The scales of justice have been weighted in favour of the wealthy and powerful for too long.

  2. 🧱 Was great to dust off my old trowel and help lay some of the bricks at the new Shakespeare North. 🎭 I'm really excited for the playhouse to open next year. It'll be an amazing resource for the local community and should attract people from all over!

    🐝 MAKING A BUZZ 🐝 has been to meet a beekeeping project in L8 funded through his Community Environment Fund. 🍯Local schoolkids have been learning about the importance of bees to our ecosystem, how to keep bees and even harvesting their own honey!

    Tory austerity has real consequences. It shatters people's lives. People like Chris. I made Housing First a priority when I was elected because I believed in its power to transform lives - and give people much needed second chances. Stories like this show why.

    In just a few years, Housing First has had a remarkable impact. But government so far hasn't guaranteed funding beyond next year. That means over 1000 vulnerable people risk being cut adrift and having their support pulled out from under them. Housing First work. Let's fund it.
