    When theories are not actively disproven, they may remain as undead "Zombie Theories", sometimes resurfacing in applied settings. It's often hard for academics to publish (critical) papers on such abandoned theories. We welcome submissions on Zombie Theories.

    This is an amazing example of self-correction in science. If you find yourself in a similar situation but with a less cooperative journal, you can always submit commentaries on your own research to us. Ideally, co-authored with the ones who found the error.

    Thanks to I revisited my 2010 PLOS One paper, corrected an error, made a clarification, and did a reproducible analysis using wosr - with help from . All documented in this comment Thx to for making this easy to do
