On a serious note, I never realized how literally you can take catharsis / emotional purging until I got so angry and repulsed in a processing session that I started retching! As if I had to let it out somehow or it would kill me

I have never felt more free of anxiety and fear in my life than now, so 10/10 would exorcise childhood trauma from my body again

That’s good, but I’m mulling over this. What appears to be missing is the struggle part. The part which offers enough resistance to make catharsis even possible.
