There is a paradox inherent to social activism, where the urge to create a world in which class, race, gender, disability, etc. are not painful ways of justifying prejudice requires distinguishing what makes different groups and experiences distinct from one another.

1) I often see people saying: "You are the wounded one, that is why you must sacrifice yourself [or your Self]." 2) I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees the contradictions/pains in transitioning past and *through* most kinds of prejudice (or we might say "harmful distinction")
