Sure, there's some delicious drama or absurdly wrong take, and if you don't correct this dolt their stupidity will be a terminal illness, but all this is overshadowed by the *shining steel mousetrap right behind the bait.*
Man, sometimes I wander on Twitter and see a ton of people putting their hands into the most obviously baited trap of an opinion / argument / online firefight possible, and I have no idea how it keeps happening.

I can’t say I have a perfect sense for when I’m being lured to have some predictable reaction, but it’s like an instinct that the situation is way too contrived to be true. If I do engage with it, I’m just shadowboxing instead of directing my energy at anything worthwhile.
